CHRISSY...
Always amazes me!
Christina has many nicknames. I call her Chris, Chrissy, Christy, Steen, Steeno, and many more that she probably would not want me to reveal in this blog. Each one is used in a different context and for different reasons but nevertheless, she answers to all of them.
Christina is my "artsy" child. She loves music, cooking, socializing, and of course lots of clothes and looking good! I imagined her to become a Top Chef but she appears to enjoy research and medicine. And appears to be very good at it.
She currently takes 18 credit hours and works two jobs while in school - Morehouse School of Medicine and a waitressing job in a Restaraunt on Peachtree. She makes all "A"s in calculus and A's and B's in the rest of her cla
sses. Maybe she has that right brain, left brain thing going on...
Last week she called very excited. She had been selected to present the research project she is working on at the Morehouse School of Medicine Research Day Conference and wanted us to come. As life would have it, just before I booked a flight for her brother and myself to go we found out my brother-in-law, Robbie, had passed away. He also lived in Atlanta. So now the trip is two fold...one to support Christina and then to say goodbye to a great brother-in- law. I will save that for another blog.

Christy did an outstanding job with her poster presentation!

For those who couldn't make it, of course I video taped it. Check it out (8 minutes)
